Start with the borrowing purpose
A loan request is easier to assess when it explains what the funds will do. Separate working-capital needs from equipment or expansion spending, state the amount required for each, and show when the spending is expected. A lender may ask for additional information under its own policy; this file is a preparation aid, not a universal bank checklist.
Make the records agree
Bring recent financial statements, current management accounts, bank statements, tax returns, and sales records into one period-by-period view. Explain material differences between turnover in the books, GST returns, and bank credits before a reviewer has to ask. If the enterprise has Udyam registration, confirm that its details still match the business being financed.
Cash cycle: Show how long customers take to pay and suppliers allow you to pay.
Existing debt: List current facilities, security, repayment dates, and any overdue amounts.
